Anemone III

11” x 14” Oil on panel

I like this anemone so well that I have painted it three times so far! It is in an old family cider jug that I’ve kept in my studio until it became artistically dusty. I’ve had to shoo away everyone who was tempted to clean it for me.

In a massive antique-gold wooden frame, Anemone III is priced at $800.

I will introduce this new painting at Hockessin Art Festival 2007
Hockessin Memorial Hall
Route 41 and Yorklyn Road
Hockessin, DE

Friday, February 23 – 5 to 9 p.m.
Saturday, February 24 – 10 a.m. to 5p.m.
Sunday, February 25 – Noon to 4 p.m.

Thirty percent of all art sales at the Hockessin Art Festival benefit the Wilmington and Western Railroad. Over the years, proceeds from this art show have been used to restore the bridges and roadbed of this historic railroad after horrendous storm damage. Riding the trains of The Wilmington and Western Roadroad is a childhood tradition in the greater Wilmington area. To read about this worthy organization please go to http://www.wwrr.com/.
